Planetary History
In 3061, the Eridani Light Horse landed as part of new Star League intervention in the informal Capellan-St. Ives war. While initial battles were promising and drove the Capellan 116th Home Guard regiment underground, guerrilla activity rapidly grew and proved very effective against the Light Horse.
In March 3062, the 116th Home Guard and guerrilla forces were reinforced by Christobal's Regiment of McCarron's Armored Cavalry, pulled back from the front lines to deal with the ELH threat to Capella and Sian.[citation needed]
