History
The Third Falcon Velites garrisoned the Jade Falcon mining enclave on York until shortly after the Burrock Absorption in 3059. The Seventeenth and Seventy-Ninth Crimson Guards of Clan Blood Spirit attacked the Third, which abandoned the near-worthless mine after a token engagement.[2]
By 3067 the Third Velites had been transferred to Eden, where they were destroyed in late 3069 by Clan Steel Viper's Gamma Galaxy.[3] [1]
Dark Age
By the Jade Falcon Desant of 3134 the Third Falcon Velites had been reformed. Under the personal command of Aleksandr Hazen they took part in Zeta Galaxy's attacks on Porrima and Summer.[4] [5]
Garrisoned on Lyons since at least 3145, the Third was hit by a previously-unknown RAF unit, the Eleventh Hastati Sentinels, during Operation SHOFAR in 3149. The Velites fought hard for three days before being forced off the planet.[6] [7]
