Description

The third WarShip class to be named after the famous Rear Admiral Adelaide Lola launched in 2660 as reliable and affordable escort and picket ship. The Lola III is a slow yet powerful destroyer. A large number of Lola IIIs survived the exodus and refurbished Lola III WarShips can be seen in most clan naval touman's with the exception of Clan Wolf and Clan Nova Cat.

Variants

The original Lola III had several differences from the refurbished Clan variant shown above:

Caspar - The Lola III also served as the basis for the M-5 Drone WarShips of the Terran Hegemony's Space Defense System. [1] Popularly known as the Caspar drone, these ships were the main combat unit of the SDS.

Named Vessels

  • CHH Black Knight - Former SLDF Warship which was part of Kerensky's Exodus Fleet. The ship later becoming property of Clan Hell's Horses.[2] The ship participated in Jihad era invasion of Clan Wolf & Jade Falcon's Occupational Zones. It participated in the destruction of Ice Hellion Warship, CIH Moore's Honor over Toland in November 3071.[3]
  • CWV Black Venom - Former SLDF vessel, which was part of the Exodus Fleet. This ship was also part of Nicholas's Kerensky's Second Exodus and became part of the Clans. The Black Venom, became part of the touman of Clan Widowmaker. The ship was assigned to Operation Sable Sun, where the ship was used to capture the rogue members of the Spacefarers. In 2820, the ship was destroyed by desperate JumpShip jump as the Widowmaker forces were being captured at Dagda prior to Operation Klondike.[4]
  • CSV Leander - Com Guard vessel lost during the disastrous Operation Bulldog assault on Clan Smoke Jaguar held Luzerne.

  • WoBS End of Wisdom - Attacked Hesperus II in 3070, destroying the LAS Melissa Steiner.[8]In 3078 she was destroyed over Dieron by Star Admiral James Lankenau.[9]
  • WDS Darius[10] - One of Wolf's Dragoons WarShips. The Darius was destroyed in a Blakist attack on Outreach on 20 December 3067.[11][12]
  • WDS Nelson[10] - The Nelson was destroyed in the same naval battle over Outreach that resulted in the destruction of the Darius.[11][12]
