Planetary History

Sakhara I was originally settled for its wide variety of rare earth metals. The harsh local terrain, mostly desert, also serves as a demanding training environment. With that in mind, the Sakhara Academy was established here.[1]

First Succession War

Sakhara was invaded during the first half of the major invasion into the Federated Suns launched by the Draconis Combine in May 2787.[18] Sakhara V was liberated by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns in 2814-15 as part of the third and final major AFFS counteroffensive of the First Succession War against the Draconis Combine.[19]
