System Description
The Pain system was located near the Finmark and Lushun systems.[4][5]
System History
Originally named Dijonne, the Pain system was either colonized during the Star League era at some point after the end of the Reunification War or was an already-inhabited system that was incorporated into Finmark Province within the Rim Worlds Republic during this period and considered significant enough to have its location recorded by Inner Sphere nations.[6][4][5]
Dijonne vanished from maps during the Third Succession War, indicating that the system had been abandoned, depopulated, or simply rendered too insignificant to merit further recording.[7][8] Dijonne reappeared on maps as an independent system during the Clan Invasion era, with a new name - Pain.[9][10][11]
