Star League[edit]
During the final years of the Star League, Unity was host to a garrison of Star League Defense Force troops.[32]
Jihad[edit]
Until the arrival of Pesht Motors, Unity was a quiet world. Barely settled and full of land untouched by humans, the area around the Pesht Motors plant quickly developed into a city. Prior to the presence of the Pesht Motors plant, the world's population was half of its 3079 level. Though the increased production required by the DCMS to fight the Jihad has helped Unity's economy, the environmental damage inflicted by heavy industry is already being felt. Orville River and Lake Dunn have begun to change in the face of unregulated pollution.[1]
