Planetary History

Asgard is divided into five continents, the most notable one being Muspell, on which the capitol city of Vernan is located.[1]

Through the early days of its history, Asgard was a Terran Alliance colony which joined the Alliance of Galedon in 2309. When the plans of Shiro Kurita came to daylight, the people of Asgard rebelled. When attacked by their former ally, the citizens of Asgard began a guerrilla war. During attacks in the early part of the year, both sides suffered great casualties. The planet eventually fell in 2312.[1]

In February of 3052, Clan Smoke Jaguar attacked Asgard. The attack (led by the 3rd Benjamin Regulars) met strong resistance, which delayed their victory for over a month. After Asgard was conquered, the citizens of Asgard remained willing to fight for their freedom, despite generations of brain-washing under Kuritan leadership.[1]
