Planetary History
Exodus
By 2296 Ford marked one edge of the area of space within which the interstellar trade company Skye Traders was the dominant commercial interest, an area which in 2299 would form the basis of the new interstellar nation founding by Ian McQuiston of Skye, the Federation of Skye.[6]
The Jihad
Following the invasion of the Free Worlds League by the Skye and Bolan Provinces of the Lyran Alliance in what was termed Operation ÜBERSCHATTEN, Marshall Jeremy Brett took command of the local FWLM and launched a counteroffensive, under the name Operation BROKEN FIST. BROKEN FIST went beyond simply attempting to recapture worlds that the Lyrans had seized, striking into Lyran space at numerous worlds. Ford was one of the worlds hit and was attacked by the League forces on the 2nd of September 3068.[12]
