The Imperio Militar del Escorpión is the military arm of the Scorpion Empire. It was originally established by Escorpión Imperio, the remnant of Clan Goliath Scorpion.
It consists of the Clan Goliath Scorpion touman and planetary defense forces of Clan Goliath Scorpion's garrison caste.

Military Organization[edit]
Based on the concept of mixed Trinaries, Goliath Scorpion's military is extremely regimented. Each of the six Trinary types it uses contains a mix of BattleMech, Elemental and aerospace forces, designed around a tactical specialty.[1]

This formation acts as a stable command element while also capable of delivering the final blow to an engaged enemy. |
Each of these six Trinary types gives way to six different Cluster formations, also designed around specific strategic needs. In addition to their stated forces, each Cluster is led by a Command Trinary.[1]

Seeker Galaxy[edit]
Formed in the 3060s as Chi Galaxy, tailored to seeker traditions.[6] Renamed between 3086 and 3140, and commanded by the Clan's Loremaster since 3100.[7]

Uniforms and Rank Insignia[edit]
Combat Dress Uniform
When Scorpion warriors are out of their machines, they wear a black jumpsuit with a cap bearing the Clan insignia.[9]
Field Uniform
The Scorpion Field Uniform consist of an armored black tunic with a dark gray shirt and pants. Dark gray gloves and black knee-high boots finish the uniform. Sometimes a black cape is added with a gray head scarf that covers the warrior's head with exception to the eyes. For head protection, the warrior wears a fur-rimmed conical helmet similar to the Mongol's of ancient Terra.[9]
Dress Uniform
This uniform bears a resemblance to the ancient Star League's security uniform. The dress uniform is a dark gray lightweight shirt, a black vest-coat made of ballistic cloth, gold pants and knee high black boots. A wide gold stripe run diagonally across the right breast of the coat, adorning the Clan logo. Galaxy and Cluster insignias are worn on the left breast of the coat, while rank insignia is worn on the coat's left shoulder and cuffs of the shirt. The helmet of the field uniform is carried over to the dress uniform.[9]
Ceremonial Uniform
The Goliath Scorpion Ceremonial uniform is made of glossy black leather, highlighted by dark gray piping that gives the uniform a segmented appearance. It gives the look of a scorpion's carapace. Finishing the look of the uniform is a black helmet with golden horse hair plume and golden Clan daggerstar for the eyes. Only Bloodnamed warriors may wear the detachable black cape trimmed in gold.[9]
Gamma Galaxy Uniforms
The Gamma Galaxy Uniforms are the same as the field and dress uniforms. Echoing back to the days of the Seekers, Gamma Galaxy replaces black with blood red and dark grey with gold to highlight their status as the Temple of the Nine Muses.[9]
