Description
A relatively small book, both in page count and literal size, Camo Specs (subtitle: A Guide to Regimental Paint Schemes) is a full color guide to a variety of common paint schemes for a large number of military units during the Third Succession War era. Along with each picture is a short overview and description of both the military unit the paint scheme belongs to as well as the combat unit pictured.

“ | Camo Specs: The Guide to BattleTech Regimental Paint Schemes
The most powerful regiments are comprised of BattleMechs and MechWarriors. All are steeped in tradition, honor, and duty. A single BattleMech can level a city, and can only be opposed by another of its kind. Piloted by the elite class known as MechWarriors, these machines, when organized into regiments, are a force to make planets tremble. Regiments are built on pride. A regiment's colors embody that pride. The Guide to BattleTech Regimental Paint Schemes provides the distinctive patterns and colors, as well as a description of selected regiments of the Inner Sphere. Includes 44 full-color illustrations, including several 'Mechs, tanks, and other vehicles in Arctic, Woodland, and Desert camouflage schemes. |

Notes
- While providing some details about the military and combat units included, it is essentially a picture book meant as a guide for painting miniatures.
- On its backside, the book states its ISBN as 1-55560-080-8 but this ISBN seems to actually be taken by another product from the same publisher ("Circus Imperium", from FASA's Renegade Legion product line).
