Description[edit]

Space Marines are infantry specially trained to fight in both normal and zero-gravity environments.[1] While most ships have their own Marine contingents, the largest of these was for many years unheard-of. Working in secrecy for decades on WarShips that were unknown to the entire Inner Sphere, the Com Guard WarShip Fleet Marines developed many skills in close quarter combat for fighting aboard space vessels. These skills came in handy during the Jihad, as many fleet battles often degenerated into boarding actions.[2]
