In the War of 3039 Sadachbia was attacked by Redfield's Renegades and the 8th Deneb Light Cavalry. They didn't face a DCMS unit in this campaign, but a series of ISF-sponsored psychological operations reduced their effectiveness.[7] To maximize the confusion, the 9th Dieron Regulars were assigned to Sadachbia and began a harassment campaign against the AFFS units. Eventually the AFFS forces withdrew, but not without destroying a battalion of the Dieron Regulars and sustaining heavy losses themselves.[8]
