Planetary History[edit]

During the late Star League era, ninety percent of Kirkcaldy was owned by a single corporation: Baker Pharmaceuticals. Kirkcaldy was relatively free of pollution, with the bulk of the manufacturing activity going on in areas of Liska, while the continent of Arcas tended to be home to managerial or creative efforts. Despite being a sprawling continent Banu was home to relatively few outposts owned by Baker Pharmaceuticals, and those outposts were used for further exploration of the local flora, looking for potential new drugs. The local Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces garrison saw more action on Banu than anywhere else, as they were periodically dispatched to rescue errant Baker expeditions from the local wildlife.[31]

Geography[edit]

Kirkcaldy has three continents named Arcas, Banu, and Liska. Arcas is located in the northern hemisphere, whilst Banu is on the equator and Liska is located in the southern hemisphere.[31]
