Planetary Info
When Kirchbach was part of the Draconis Combine, it was sited on the Combine border with the Lyran Commonwealth and the Periphery. As a result it was a frequent target of raids by both pirates and the LCAF. In fact the LCAF raided the world in 3023 and smashed the local computer systems. This collapsed the entire world's computer network that required specialists from Luthien to fix.[1]
The world has few natural resources, but does possess enough arable land to allow the population to feed themselves.[1][2]
Kirchbach has three continents, Hermagor where the capital city New Samos is located, Carinthia and Gailtal.[2]
Kirchbach was conquered by Clan Wolf during Operation Revival, only to then be conquered again during the Jihad; Clan Hell's Horses launched a invasion of the Clan Wolf holdings in the Inner Sphere in early 3071, acquiring holdings for their own relocation to Spheroid space. Kirchbach was seized by the Hell's Horses between the 7th and 14th of April 3071.[17]
Prior to the Clan Invasion Kirchbach was beginning to develop an armaments industry. The world's falling under the control of Hell's Horses expedited these plans, and plants on the world produce a variety of different weapons.[2]
