Overview
At the fall of the Star League, Aldis Industries was a comparatively small firm. Since then it has become one of the largest manufacturers of heavy tanks in the Inner Sphere. It also owned some 'Mech production lines in Liverpool, and Tokyo was home to its aerospace production lines.[1] In 3025, Aldis Industries was the Inner Sphere's largest independent weapons producer and their headquarters on Terra benefited from the protection conferred through Comstar's neutrality.
During the Jihad, Aldis' Betelgeuse factory lost 18% of its capital and personnel, but by 3079 it had again reached 100% of its full production volume.[2] Furthermore, the home office on Terra always granted its subsidiary firms a great deal of leeway, allowing the Betergeuse factory to become one of the largest suppliers of weapons for the Capellan Confederation's Home Guard units. The heavy tanks it produces can be found all across the Confederation.[3]
Leadership
In 3025 the company's CEO is Paula Cariton.[1]
The Capellan Division was headed by Peter Abrahamson in 3067. His family has led the firm for nearly a century.[3]
Manufacturing
Aldis Industries has manufacturing centers on the following planets:
Betelgeuse
Ingersoll
This Capellan world isn't listed under the Aldis Industries entry for Objectives: Capellan Confederation, which may mean it was destroyed during the Jihad.[5]
