The Dayr Khuna system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 3145 was an autonomous system within the Free Worlds League located close to the border of the Oriente Protectorate and the Regulan Fiefs.[1][2]

Dayr Khuna is located near the Elektrougli and Ragusa systems.[3]

System History[edit]

The Dayr Khuna system was colonized during the First Exodus from Terra and was a member of the Federation of Oriente prior to the formation of the Free Worlds League in the late twenty-third century.[4]

Planetary History[edit]

Dayr Khuna was one of three Duchy of Oriente worlds to be raided between 13 and 20 March 3079 by Word of Blake forces;[21] the Blakist raiding party was led by a pair of WarShips, the Vincent Mk. 39-class WoBS Blade of Divinity, one of a number of vessels recovered from the Ruins of Gabriel prior to the Jihad, and the Hippolyta, an Agamemnon-class heavy cruiser suborned from the Free Worlds League navy.[22]

Dayr Khuna was struck again in 3080 or 3081, this time by forces from the Regulan Hussars; the Regulan forces fired tactical nukes during the fighting on the planet, acting in the belief that Dayr Khuna was harboring Blakists.[23]
