The Fjaldr system was colonised at some point during the Star League era after the end of the Reunification War.[3][1] It was noted that the original Capellan colony was lost over the course of the Succession Wars.[2] After the Confederation gradually abandoned its poorly developed periphery holdings in the region, a new periphery nation–the Aurigan Coalition–formed in 2910 from a pre-existing (if tenuous) trade network.[4] Fjaldr last appeared on a 3022 map that showed it to be part of the Aurigan Coalition,[5] a weak political entity itself tethering on the brink of collapse at the time; the Fjaldr system vanished from maps afterwards, [6][7] indicating that the system had been abandoned or depopulated, or otherwise was considered too insignificant or too thinly settled to warrant mention anymore.
