The Ashley system is the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as of 3145 was located in the Sirdar Operational Area of the Capellan March within the Federated Suns.[1][2]

System Description[edit]

Ashley is located near the Abruzzi and Shaunavon systems.[1][2]

System History[edit]

The Ashley system was settled at some point prior to the Age of War and prior to the founding of the Capellan Confederation in 2366 was an independent system within the region known as the Capellan Zone.[3]

Davion Civil War[edit]

In 2530, David Varnay, Prince of the Capellan March and the most dangerous of the opponents facing Prince Alexander Davion at that stage of the Davion Civil War, was dealing with the anti-Varnay riots on Ashley when he was killed.[42] Varnay had been an advocate of using old-fashioned politics wherever possible, despite his use of militia and secret police forces to eliminate his most dangerous opponents, and Ashley was the last of a number of worlds in which he'd been engaged in a public tour to let his people and his troops see him when the riot that killed him erupted.[5]
