Colchester was invaded during the first half of the major invasion into the Federated Suns launched by the Draconis Combine in May 2787.[10] Colchester was liberated by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns in 2810 as part of the second major AFFS counteroffensive of the First Succession War against the Draconis Combine.[11]
Third Succession War
After moving to New Valencia to assist Wolf's Dragoons' base that was under assault by McCarron's Armored Cavalry, the Eridani Light Horse would move to Colchester in 3007. The Eridani had forced the Cavalry to abandon their assault on New Valencia without touching down on world.[15]
