Clan Smoke Jaguar assaulted Tarnby during the Clan Invasion, confronting the defending Fourth Pesht Regulars with Trinaries Assault and Battle of the Sixth Jaguar Dragoons. The battle took place at Divers Grotto, where the inexperienced soldiers of the Fourth Regulars proved to be no match for the Smoke Jaguars. It began with a predawn raid by Trinary Assault's heavy- and assault-weight 'Mechs, whose superior firepower outmatched the Regulars' in one-on-one combat, while the sudden appearance of Trinary Battle's seemingly indestructible Elementals caused many to flee in panic.
