The Eguilles system is the location of at least one habitable world and, as of 3145, is located in the Skandia Province of the Rasalhague Dominion.[1][2]

System Description[edit]

The Eguilles system is located near the Setubal and Toffen systems.[3]

System History[edit]

The Eguilles system was settled by the Draconis Combine during the Star League era at some point after the end of the Reunification War.[4][3]

Clan Invasion[edit]

During the Clan Invasion, Eguilles was attacked by Clan Ghost Bear in March 3052 as the 115th Striker Cluster faced off against the Fourth Arkab Legion. Landing just north of the Fourth's main encampment, the Ghost Bears launched a series of damaging raids on the defenders, using the flexibility of their OmniMechs' pod system to hinder the defenders' attempt to determine their enemy's numbers and composition. However, because there had been no response to their batchall, the Clan warriors were also operating on the assumption they were vastly outnumbered. Thus, when Tai-sa Sajulam Kosiridam and his officers opted to launch a suicide charge into the enemy's center, they were surprised when the Ghost Bears broke and retreated under the weight of the assault. As Clan forces turned to make their stand at Carstairs Plains, Star Colonel Romano Tseng engaged in two separate one-on-one duels with the enemy as the rest of her Cluster kept the Fourth busy. Unfortunately, in the second of the two duels Tai-sa Kosiridam destroyed Teng's 'Mech, demoralizing the Ghost Bears; leaderless and low on ammunition the Clan warriors retreated to their DropShips at Rockcliff, where they reconfigured their 'Mechs with energy weapons and waited. Surrounding the Ghost Bear unit the Fourth Arkab expected an easy victory, but when their second battalion collapsed under the weight of the Ghost Bears' counterattack they retreated. Choosing to live and fight another day, the Legion fell back to their own DropShips, unmolested by the exhausted Ghost Bear forces, and escaped.[52]
