The Ganshoren system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 3151 was located in the Clan Jade Falcon Occupation Zone.[1]

Ganshoren is located near the Symington and Symington systems.[2][3]

System History[edit]

The Ganshoren system was colonized at some point during or shortly after the First Exodus from Terra, and by the end of the Age of War had been incorporated into the Lyran Commonwealth.[4][5]

Planetary History[edit]

As part of the Draconis Combine counterattack during the War of 3039, the Fourth Arkab Legion raided Ganshoren, Auldhouse, and Arcturus in July through September, threatening the supply lines of the Lyran offensive.[35]

Ganshoren came under attack by the Rasalhague Dominion's 300th Battle Cluster a some point after 3146. While the Dominion forces were successful against the defending the Falcon's Second Falcon Dragoons, it very nearly turned into a disaster due to misuse of the new Rime Otter OmniMech, the 300th using them as shielding units for their Mad Dog Mk III's despite them being totally unsuited for such a role, losing an undue number of the 'Mechs.[36]
