[edit] Description
Introduced in 2620 by the Terran Hegemony[3]. The Extended-Range Large Laser (ER Large Laser) focuses a powerful beam of light on targets that causes damage by overheating or melting the target.
As the name suggests, the Extended-Range variant of the Large Laser increases the power of the beam to project it to much farther ranges. The power necessary to facilitate the production of such generates a greatly increased quantity of waste heat.
As with most Clan energy weapons, the Clans lack their own standard Large Laser.
