The Outpost system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 3151 was located in the Rasalhague Province of the Rasalhague Dominion.[1]

Star League[edit]

In 2764, the Forty-seventh Royal Mechanized Infantry Division of the Star League Defense Force destroyed a base for the armed group called the Great North on Outpost, New Bergen, and St. John. However, the SLDF troops thought they were defeating a group of Periphery separatists. In actuality, the group was made of ethnic Rasalhagians wanted for political and cultural crimes by the Draconis Combine. The SLDF troops were unknowingly doing the dirty work of oppressive Combine policies. This revelation nearly caused the entire Division to mutiny.[36]

Clan Invasion[edit]

In March 3050 during Operation REVIVAL's first wave, the Trinary Third Mixed Services of Clan Wolf's Fourth Striker Cluster invaded Outpost. They were opposed by the Outpost People's Militia, consisting of two infantry regiments and one armor regiment. The battle was short, with the commander of the People's Militia surrendering to Clan Wolf after the destruction of his tank battalion at Haparanda.[20]

Jihad[edit]

During the Jihad, Clan Hell's Horses launched an invasion of Clan Wolf holdings in the Inner Sphere, acquiring holdings for their own relocation to Spheroid space. Outpost was one of the first worlds targeted, and was attacked in the opening wave of attacks that fell between 21 and 28 February 3071.[27]
