The Anegasaki system is the location of at least one inhabited world and as of 3145 is located in the Oriente Protectorate province of the Free Worlds League.[1][2]

The Anegasaki system is located near the Lukla and Shuen Wan systems.[3]

Anegasaki was one of a number of worlds to be captured by the Free Worlds League Military during the invasion of the Capellan Confederation that began in 2787. While the initial thrust of the invasion had been aimed towards Sarna, a second front had been opened in 2789 following the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces taking heavy losses in the Calloway system as a result of a failed attack. Forced onto the defensive, the CCAF was pushed back by numerous FWLM successes; the momentum of the FWLM campaign wasn't disrupted until 2793, when the Twenty-first Centauri Lancers[12]—a battalion from the Third Centauri Guards regiment of the St. Ives Armored Cavalry[38]—launched an attack against Anegasaki that saw the Fourth Marik Militia destroyed. The successful counterattack forced Captain-General Kenyon Marik to shift his efforts to securing worlds that he'd already seized, with the FWLM high command spending months moving forces to new locations and restructuring their logistics and supply chains in an effort to hold the line of worlds won during the six years of campaigning.[12]

In mid-2804, Captain-General Thaddeus Marik withdrew all of the federal troops from the Duchy of Oriente in retaliation for Duke Carter Allison objecting to Thaddeus' claim to the title of Captain-General. When the Capellan Strategios was able to confirm the withdrawal of the FWLM troops, they responded by immediately deploying forward troops from Anegasaki, Ipswich, and Pella to assault systems within the Duchy, making swift gains.[39]

It was confirmed that the Twenty-first Centauri Lancers were a battalion within the Third Centauri Guards in 2793 and responsible for the destruction of the Fourth Marik Militia on Anegasaki by the BattleTech Developer Adrian Gideon in the Catalyst Game Labs official errata forum:
