Planetary History[edit]
Fourth Succession War[edit]
The Lyran Commonwealth conquered Thannhausen during Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG[22] and retained control of the system until at least January 3030, by which point the Lyran Commonwealth had ended the offensive actions launched as a part of Operation HOLDUR and was consolidating its gains.[23] Coordinator Takashi Kurita ordered the DCMS to halt all but the most promising attacks and assume a defensive posture; by the time the war was officially ended via a peace treaty mediated by ComStar[50] Thannhausen had been returned to Combine control,[51] most likely either via a counterattack or as a part of the peace negotiations.
Clan Invasion[edit]
Thannhausen was conquered by Clan Wolf in November 3051, with the Fourth Striker Cluster fighting the First and Second Thannhausen Brigades at Mt. Kopper, Cesson Forest and Nichol Vale. Initially the battle had gone in the defenders' favor as they were able to construct an effective defense which kept the Fourth Striker's mixed service units from hitting the industrial complexes of Finton and Greech. This defense was undermined by a series of heavy thunderstorms which provided cover for several OmniMech and Elemental Stars to infiltrate and destroy the militia's communication and command centers, forcing their surrender.[52]
Dark Age[edit]
When Clan Wolf abandoned its Occupation Zone in 3137, Thannhausen was one of the worlds annexed by Clan Hell's Horses' Epsilon Galaxy the following year. The Cyllaros QuadVee saw some action during the claiming of Thannhausen, acquitting itself well.[53][54]
