Planetary History[edit]

The world of Goshen was originally one of the Chesterton worlds, but the border wars between the various states in the area saw Goshen in the hands of the Sarna Supremacy when the Capellan Confederation came into being.[2] The Federated Suns captured Goshen from the Confederation and held it,[5] but during the First Succession War Goshen was one of several former Chesterton worlds the Confederation managed to recapture,[44] despite a heavy counterattack by the Federated Suns after Chancellor Ilsa Liao offered to withdraw her claim to the title of First Lord of the Star League and to instead support Paul Davion's claim if the Federated Suns would return Chesterton to the Confederation.[15][45]
