Planetary Info
Imbros III was first settled as part of the Terran Hegemony. The world has few mineral resources locked away in its rocky mountains and deserts. During the Amaris Civil War no Rim Worlds Republic troops garrisoned the world. Instead the Rim Worlders forced the Draconis Combine to garrison the world by holding Combine citizens hostage. When General Kerensky counterattacked, the DCMS forces on the world withdrew.[1]
The only thing Imbros III had was its strategic position between the Lyran Commonwealth and Draconis Combine. Over the course of the Succession Wars, Imbros III served as either a raiding target or staging area for countless engagements. During the Fourth Succession War the Commonwealth finally took the world, along with several others, forming the Lyons Thumb. The Combine recaptured the world during the FedCom Civil War. During the Jihad the Word of Blake captured the world. Finally freed during Operation SCOUR, the Coalition forces discovered that most of the world's industry had been destroyed. The relocation directives enacted by the Republic of the Sphere, combined with capital to rebuild the factories helped the planet recover.[1]
