The Ibstock system was home to at least one habitable world or construct, and as of June 3152 was located in the Oriente Protectorate of the Free Worlds League.[1]

Planetary History

Succession Wars

Hitherto a Capellan world, Ibstock was conquered by the Free Worlds League early in the First Succession War between 2786 and 2791.[10] It was reclaimed by the Confederation in 2837 as a result of the ComStar War when the FWLM abandoned Ibstock, but fell back under League control in 2845 during the League's La Reconquista counteroffensive.[13] [14]

Dark Age

Forces from the Oriente Protectorate conquered Ibstock in March 3136; the combined arms formations of the Protectorate made good use of the Testudo Siege Tank in at least one engagement, with Protectorate infantry forces using the tanks to rout a militia infantry regiment and their BattleMech support at Porstmouth Gorge, despite being significantly outnumbered.[31]
