History
The Towne Debacle
In 2783, First Prince John Davion of the Federated Suns, dispatched forces to claim the planet. At the time, with Hegemony's Collapse, the planet was viewed as one few worlds seen as worth effort to secure by eye of the Federated Suns. Planet had number of valuable supplies in Warehouses and Hegemony industries, as well path for Suns to claim Terra. The Prince garrisoned the world elements of the 56th Avalon Hussars and 123rd Aero Interceptor Wing.
Draconis Combine & Capellan Confederation sent raiding forces against Towne in Early 2785 at the same time. These raiding forces successfully raided the planet of its valuables because the two garrisoning forces had been feuding on which force to tackle first. Damaged done, caused the garrisoning force request for reinforcements. Later in the year, Draconis Combine had figured out the weakness of Towne's garrison force, dispatched the 15th Dieron Regulars to claim the planet. By time Davion forces had arrived to reinforce the beleaguered garrison, the world was claimed by the Combine as it own.[2]
