- January 13th - Cesar Spano is born, he is a future member of the Davion Guards.
- January 21th - Word of Blake forces attack Tukayyid, devastating the ComGuard troops stationed there, as well as the 1st Royal BattleMech Regiment of the Star League Defense Force and the 21st Centauri Lancers, ComGuard WarShips Hammerstrike and Blake’s Vengeance destroyed.[1]
- Elements of the Free Worlds League's Sirian Lancers assault Skye to foment chaos for the Word of Blake.[1]
- Duke Robert Kelswa-Steiner of Skye declares war on the Free Worlds League.[1]
- Case White, composed of roughly eleven ComGuard divisions and led by Precentor Martial Victor Steiner-Davion, fails to conquer Terra from the Word of Blake. Two nuclear devices are set off, one in Riga and one in Houston.[1]

- June 2nd - Free Worlds League forces under the command of Tamarind Marshall Jeremy Brett counter the nominally Lyran invasion and continue into Lyran space.[1]

- June 16th - Word of Blake conquers Solaris VII.[1]
- July 10th -14th - Clan Snow Raven attacks the Draconis Combine.[1]
- Kai Allard-Liao is taken to New Syrtis by The Bounty Hunter.
- Duke George Hasek of the Capellan March launches Operation: Sovereign Justice, which is a three-pronged assault aimed at gaining a buffer for the St. Ives Compact to be free once more.[3]
- A WarShip bombards Sian, killing Duchess Candace Liao and driving Chancellor Sun-Tzu Liao into hiding. The attack is initially believed to be from a FedSuns WarShip, but it was actually a Blakist attack. The attack galvanized Confederation.[1]
- The Word captures Muphrid, Thorin, and New Earth, employed tactical nuclear weapons on all three worlds.[2]
- November 27th - Lyran forces reclaim Syrma and Zebebelgenubi.[2]
- Capellan Confederation's military regent Sang-jiang-jun Talon Zahn launches Operation: Thunderstrike as counter-invasion against House Davion's Capellan March's Operation: Sovereign Justice.[4]
- Jie Fang Legion is destroyed in First Wave in August by elements of the Death Commandos and the 5th Confederation Reserve Cavalry.
- Blackwind Lancers hearing news of Duchess Liao's death turns on its former Hasek allies on Ares; The Lancers destroy 85% of 5th Syrtis Fusiliers.
- Thunderstrike's three main Task Forces (Task Force Shen Lung, Task Force Light Horse, & Task Force Vengeance) are finally assembled to conduct three prong invasion re-take captured worlds and invade Federated Suns.
- October 7th; Second Wave of Thunderstrike launches; Task Forces hit captured worlds
- 13th Division of Word of Blake assaults world of Kittery in November as "part of" Operation: Thunderstrike's 2nd Wave.[5]
- The 13th Division destroys both the Kittery Borderers and Kittery Training Battalion; Kittery falls to Blake under the guise of being held in the name of the Capellan Confederation.[2]

- Raventhir's Iron Hand faces off against the Blakists outside city of Crimson.
- Blakists' infantry from the 34th Division slaughters the Iron Hand's infantry which was defending the Magestrix & other Magistracy VIPs.
- Raventhir's Iron Hand units are overwhelmed by 34th Division and destroyed.
- Canopus is conquered by the Blakist while holding Magestrix and other VIPs as hostages.
- October 18th[7] - 34th Division of the Word of Blake assaults Canopus IV.[8]

- October 24th - Knights of the Inner Sphere arrive on Atreus.[2]
- October 26th - Word of Blake releases a gas attack over Atreus, killing hundreds of thousands, including most of Parliament.[1]
- Blakists reveal that the Captain-General of the Free Worlds League is not really Thomas Marik, but an impostor. They also reveal that Sharilar Mori was a Draconis Combine agent and that Anastasius Focht was Frederick Steiner.[1]

- Word of Blake's 2nd Division conducts series of raids against the planet, Donegal. Heavy damage is inflicted to the planet's industries and infrastructure.[1]
- Word of Blake's 16th & 20th Divisions conduct decoy raids against Hesperus II's defenses while inserting combat troops onto the planet as prepration for a planned invasion of the planet.[1]
- Majesty Metals and Manufacturing of Dunianshire begins limited production of the KSC-5MC Koschei.[10]
