System Description
The Yed Posterior system is located near the Alexandria and Corridan IV systems[2][3] and consists of a class G8IV primary orbited by five worlds, at least one of which is habitable.[1]
System History
The Yed Posterior system was settled during or shortly after the First Exodus from Terra and was a member of the Federation of Skye when the Federation became one of the founding nations of the Lyran Commonwealth.[4]
Yed Posterior II
Template:InfoBoxPlanetStandard Yed Posterior II - more commonly referred to simply as Yed Posterior - is the second planet in the Yed Posterior system.[1]
Planetary History
First Succession War
In 2788 Yed Posterior was struck by the DCMS, in a raid that targeted and destroyed the Argile Technologies' MechWorks factory.[5]
Dark Age era
Clan Wolf would invade Yed Posterior in 3137, the defending Republic of the Sphere militia choosing to fight a guerrilla war in response, concealing their forces in both the planet's turbulent seasonal storms and networks of industrial tunnels beneath some of its largest cities. The militia put up a valiant defense of the city of Henderton, a company of militia 'Mechs making best use of C3 Networks and ECM capabilities to keep the Wolves on the backfoot and pick off the invaders one by one. Ultimately a frustrated Alaric Wolf ordered his warriors to raze the city, forcing the Republic militia to surrender to protect the civilian population.[6]
