When Duke George Hasek launched his offensive against the Capellan Confederation under the name Operation SOVEREIGN JUSTICE, Overton was one of the worlds targeted as the Federated Suns forces encircled the worlds of the former St. Ives Compact. Overton was captured in the week of the 2nd of July 3068 by the 1st Federated Suns Lancers.[25] Overton would remain in the hands of George Hasek, until the Capellan counteroffensive, Operation THUNDERSTRIKE in October 3068, when the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces 15th Dracon and the remains of Warrior House Ijori retook the world, but suffered heavy losses. [33]
