In 3065 the 4th Skye Rangers, the 17th Skye Rangers, the 22nd Skye Rangers and the 32nd Lyran Guards tried to conquer Hesperus II, but were beaten back by the Grey Death Legion, 15th Lyran Guards and 36th Lyran Guards. The Skye forces had to retreat.
In 3067 the 4th Skye Rangers were among the Lyran coalition forces that supported Peter Steiner-Davion in the conquest of Tharkad.

In 3065 the CO is Lieutenant-General William Harrison von Frisch.
[edit] Tactics
Due to it's brillant commanding officer, the whole 4th Skye Rangers RCT have derived a taste for imaginative tactics, rather than brute force. The whole unit is trained in variety of tactics and can adapt to every situation. In battle, the 4th Skye Rangers RCT tries to lure the enemy into a trap, rather than engaging them openly.
